Comprehensive Annual Financial Report
Dakota County produces a CAFR each year to show the public an accurate picture of the county’s financial condition. The report has 4 main reports – Statement of Activities, Statement of Net Assets, Balance Sheet, and the Statement of Revenues and Expenditures. The Office of the State Auditor audits the CAFR annually.

  • Served as Sheriff of Fillmore County for ten years.

One of Don’s speeches titled, “Fall in a Mud Puddle, Get Up and Check Your Pockets for Fish,” is a fast-moving and humorous look at living and working in the 21st century.
